Unique Places in BUDAPEST: Horse Races at Kincsem Park
Visiting the Horse Racing venue in Budapest can offer a very unique experience. It’s actually a more fun and enjoyable place then most movies portray the Derby venues.
The Kincsem Park in Budapest doesnt simply offer an opportunity to watch horses and dogs race across the track, but thanks to development in recent years, many unique events are organized around the Derbys. A Fashion and Style Festival for example or a so called Food Truck show is regularly held alongside the races, so coming to the outskirts of Budapest on a weekend can bring not only a thrilling experience as you cheer for one of the horses, but you can also participate in unique programs and grab some tasty treats and drinks to feast.
One element of the races is of course betting. It can be a fun experience to place a few bets on horses and there are English pamplets available to help, however please make sure that if you do gamble, you do that responsibly!

In this video, we’ll take you to 6 exciting Weekend Markets of Budapest!
If you wish to grab some locally produced goods like vegetables or fruit, or take some fresh bakery items, pair it with some nice cheese or sausage and have a unique farmers brunch, visiting these markets is a great idea. But if you are looking for some designer items to take home as memory or just in general you like to appreaciate someones handcraft skills, then some of these markets will definately help!
As noted in the video, these are Weekend Markets mostly operating on the weekends, but depending on which one you want to visit, it’s best to check their schedules as not all are open on every Saturday and Sunday.
