There are many Unique statues in Budapest, most of them with interesting stories and meaning. Not just Hungarian historical figures, but many foreign imporant people have also been immortalized on the streets in the form of various Sculptures and Monuments.

We are exploring the Buda Castle district where we reveal an interesting story regarding the popular Fountain of King Matthias, and we also show a statues that may be proof that Woody Harrelson is a time traveler, plus some more. Then we head to the downtown where Peter Falk, aka Detective Colombo has a statue, and share the stories behind some of the instagram favorite ones including the Policeman at the Basilica and the Little Princess on the Danube Promenade. We also share information about memorials that commemorate events from the darker times. Like the atrocities of the Second World War or the Socialist times.
